WOODLANDS in Tsim Sha Tsui- best south indian food, great talis and huge paper dosa. not inspiring atmosphere but food makes up for it by far

sorry not a buffet

buffet there’s a great one, JOJO’s MESS in WANCHAI but I don’t think it’s south indian there’s meat and lots of heavy sauce but it is very good and cheap. Woodlands is cheap by the way. I believe there will be Indian buffets in MIDLEVELS, but may not be south indian

was recommended by a friend to go and we had the worst experience in our life.

food was average. nothing to shout about. first they got our order wrong. when we got all our curry dish but they did not serve us the rice. when we asked for the rice again. they mentioned that they can only serve us plain rice. We ordered Saffron rice. so we said yes. We opened a bottle of wine to share and when we finished the bottle, we were still chatting. the waitress came over to pour us more wine and mentioned it was complimentary and it was on the house. we were pleasantly surprised and continue chatting and even ordered the yogurt dessert which was really bland.

when the bill came, which was about HKD1000 we realised that they have also charged for the additional wine that was meant to be on the house. we spoke to the waittress, she got extremely defensive and shouted at us and insisted that we had more than additional glass. we were not drunk so it was clearly a mistake. instead of acknowledging it, the waitress was very unprofessional and continue to scream at us and insisted that we were trouble maker.

i will never ever come here again. it is not how a customer should be treated.

i am very disappointed as the restaurant was nice and the food wasnt too bad.
