10 November Main St Deli starts Thanksgiving/Xmas early, with its ‘Turkey to go’ menu. A combo for 6-10 people, with pumpkin soup, 14lb turkey with all the trimmings, and choice of pie or Xmas pudding is $1,188. For 16-20 people, its $1,888. (or you can just order the turkey from $888).
10 November Till end November H One is featuring white truffles from the Piedmont region. Starters include White asparagus and forest mushroom ragout, and Quail and fried egg. Some mains are Atlantic black cod, Wagyu beef tartare, etc.
7 November The Grand Hyatt has appointed Marcus Mathyssek as their new executive chef. Mathyssek honed his craft at Michelin Star restaurants such as Victorian Restaurant in Düsseldorf, Landhaus Scherrer in Hamburg and Mosimann’s in London. He joined the Hyatt group in 1997.
6 November Morton’s have introduced new set menus for group bookings in the private dining room and new items for a la carte dining. Three course lunch sets range from $595-$695. Three and four course set dinners from $775-$1175.
